Surely using freedom of speech to protest against inequality is one of the most American things you can do? I must have missed the memo that states the protests were about disrespecting either your flag or national anthem.

Particularly amusing note is that Clancy’s account tag is “Lover of Liberty” Definition of Liberty: the state of being free within society from oppressive restrictions imposed by authority on one's way of life, behavior, or political views.

Pretty much boils down to "America is a free country, so you better stand to honor the freedom it gives you, or else." Cause you know, freedom.

It’s the continued killing of unarmed black adults and children without justice or redress that is offensive. The anthem and the flag are not the issue.
