A question out of curiosity for @libdems members - if you have to pick the top ten most important person to you in the party (for example, a mentor, got you to canvass, gave you knowledge etc) - who will they be?

Oh love this! @MaryRegW first ever #LibDem I spoke to: friendly but passionate, so easy to talk to. Said she had met ‘her People’ and made me hope I would be ‘her people’ and they too would become ‘my people’ spoiler: they did. With bells on. And I officially love Mary.

Then @ClareDelders who made sure I didn’t feel out of place at my first physical #LibDem meet which snowballed into would I like to stand in my non target village in her friendly, open, warm welcoming but oddly persuasive way. Those who know Clare know of which I speak.

So that led me to @LNethsingha who spoke to me about being a Cllr with young children & how it was do-able and why she did it and what she stood for. And I loved her passion and wondered maybe... I could follow her footsteps too...

And then onto @susanvandeven who bowls me over (still) with her compassion and warmth and intelligence and I think - wow I could be colleagues with people like her on Cambs County Council. So I agree to stand to get elected.
