Log date 08/30/2018 - Recieved the flu shot. Waiting for the polysorbate 20, the formaldehyde and the thimerosal to break havoc my BBB and transform my brain into a potato within a week. Was nice to talk to y’all while it lasted.pic.twitter.com/NK87ROmbmT

Log date 08/31/2018 - 24 hours post injection. No signs of fatigue, no sign of cognitive decline, no signs of brain swelling (according to AVers I should be throwing tantrum and crying non-stop). Noteworthy, increased focus on manuscript writing and attention in a med chem talk.

166M flu doses given last year so I think you're going to avoid potato status since there aren't 166M potatoes walking around.

Who knows? We are not yet entered the high season of flu in Northern Hemisphere. Signs are encouraging from Southern Hemisphere but forecasting the next outbreak is as reliable as a crystal ball. A wooden shield is still better than no shield at all.
