Unless it benefits Big Oil and the select 1%, this will not get press. Sadly.

By any standards of investment and profit this sounds like it's a no-brainer and worth doing regardless of its impact on the environment. Even die-hard conservative climate deniers can't argue with numbers that return so well on investment!

If it were demonstrably true, private equity would be first in line to "invest." ROI to whom? Really what it is, increased forigen aid that doesn't solve climate change, if even possible, only mitigates effects at best

If this were true, then private investors would be lining up to invest. It’s not happening because it’s not true. Stay out of our wallets with your tax and spend ideas.

When they add in the term climate change, that means higher cost. Some of the ides would be good, but do not have to cost more. Buildings that can handle hurricanes, but does not mean it has to cost more.

want to save money, lives, and cut down on pollution? start with the cooking fires, give people another option instead of coal or wood to cook with. that is big part of the pollution and health issues. Doing that will help save lives and mangroves.

Doing so, you can go with a cheap option of 1 electric cooker and solar panel under $50 or go with a larger family setup to provide light, heat, and cooking in remote regions and save hundreds on infrastructure costs and save lives and cut down on pollution from cooking fires.
