So, when the container boots it requests an IP address from the network which is managed by an external DHCP server and it is reachable on the network. 2/2

Was a pleasure! :-) We are runnning LXD stable from the Ubuntu repository currently, which the configuration is a bit different than the latest stable from backports. We setup a bridge interface that we configure LXD to make use of for the containers. 1/2
