Dear @TeamYouTube I have a confusion regarding reuse content. If I use someone's full video which was uploaded under “creative common licence” on YouTube with my own commentary & on-screen present on first & last of that CC video will my channel be monetized?

If you upload content from multiple sources, or reupload/repurpose someone else’s existing content (ie “reuse content”) then you won’t be eligible for YPP. Check out the FAQs and best practices here: https://yt.be/help/reused-content … and you can always reapply in 30 days.

Fair use only applies when there is major value added to the already existing content: eg. remixes, commentary w/ facecam/ other additions, etc. Hope this helps!

Youtube sweeties please don't become another Myspace trying to appease a few. It really can happen. There will always be bigger better platforms in the future. Don't forget about your content creators or else you might become another "whatever happen to", blip in the .comOsphere
