The Linux Foundation sucks. Remember when they took over http://Linux.com and promised to be good stewards? In short order they made it a corporate shill site, and then in April laid off all writers and editors without so much as a word of thanks or explanation.

All along they've been paying lip service to community, while bending over for their corporate members. The individual membership was discontinued years ago.
@linuxfoundation needs a housecleaning at the top, and some real leadership.2 replies 4 retweets 4 likes -
Apparent? http://techrights.org is super sketchy web site that looks like it was made in about 20 minutes, and I can find no other sources for this on the net. There have even been two articles posted since April 25th. Written by ghosts ?

Both of these were added after I had written an article about it

You do need to name or link to sources and offer more specifics. That's a major failing with Techrights.

the site typically offers lots of links, maybe not on this subject

It would be nice if you linked to your sources within the article. That's the main reasons why Techrights has a credibility problem.

I don't think that's the "main" one; the main one has long been that I criticise those with power and money: Microsoft, Novell, patent offices etc. In those areas/topics LOTS of links are added

Yeah, but you want to piss them off. What you don't want is to drive away readers looking for the truth who leave because they can't tell if your reporting fact or rumour. Links and sources need to be in the article, not adjacent to the article.

Got your point. Thanks. That having been said, on the other aspect, I've been demonised enough for 15 years, often by Microsoft staff. Nothing would appease them.
