The OS X contextual help menu is still one of my favorite support interactions ever. Particularly how it brings you to the menu item, and of course changes as views / menu items change. I wish more software had nav built into their help menus like this.

revoke my room at the next hospital and make me start the ER process all over 🤯 (Also falsely claimed insurance would not cover my visit if I left—a myth.) I tried finding the regulations at the federal and state level, but no dice. Is this an actual regulation or another myth?

2nd hospital was ready for me, but there was an ambulance shortage. Resulted in a 7 hour surgical delay + ambulance allocated to me instead of more critical case during (!) Not in urgent condition, but they refused to let me take an Uber. If I did, they threatened to…

Why do hospitals require ambulances for inter-facility transfers? Is this a regulation or preference? Was recently in a local ER (I'm ok! Appendicitis sucks.) and stuck in limbo: they couldn't care for me, but also couldn't get me to the new hospital.
