    I'm always surprised that economists never mention a very key part when they are talking about the labor shortfall: 645K people died in the US, 26K died in NJ and there are an untold number who can't work because of long COVID.

    I’m so excited about announcing today. My mom was a member of growing up. That union is why my family had health insurance growing up and helped me pay for college. I’m so proud to be a union family again!!

    So proud of my former colleagues & friends . They work tirelessly and deserve to be treated w/ dignity and paid fairly. There is no local journalism without local journalists. They need a seat at the table to create a ~sustainable ~ future. Looking at you

    The journalists are having a Norma Ray moment! I grew up with local news provided by local writers who came from within the community and I hope future New Jersey generations can enjoy the same. Congrats to & all the wordsmiths for knowing their worth!

    There is no local news without local journalists. We have unionized to preserve our high-quality local news coverage and to build a better, more stable future. We are proud to join the wave of Gannett newsrooms organizing with the NewsGuild to be treated as valued employees.

    Hey! That sounds familiar!!!

    “I am tired of watching my female colleagues walk out the door because mgt won’t listen to their ideas or appreciate their talents. I am tired of being asked to do more work with no $ while the CFO gets a $600K bonus for furloughing and laying us off.
