All our political scandals are either 1: A provincial/federal government trampling on indigenous rights to enact a resource extraction project supported by the every major party. 2: The Prime Minister bought donuts from the wrong place.

I have an elderly Canadian family member that, when the topic of the buck-wild stuff happening in American politics comes up, replies with "Well it's not like it's any better in Canada!", and I have to just sit down and *take a moment* to process that perception.

My elderly family members (we're Canadian) think it's just as bad here because Trudeau keeps allowing "them" into our country. "Them" seems to refer to refugees who are all terrorists /sarcasm
