To recap: -@AQE_NY handed out flyers re: Golden's blocking of CFE funds for over a decade in Bay Ridge on 2/26; -On 2/27, I called @SenMartyGolden district office about it. Nobody knew what I was talking about, said to call Albany; -I called Albany 3 times over the next week /2

-Most staffers in Albany couldn't answer my questions, either; -I finally connected with Steve Taylor on March 2, who knew a little about the situation. -On March 9, Meg Brown offered me a meeting "The week of April 9th" with the Senator, but did not offer a hard date, which worried me. When I asked for a firm meeting, we made two, in case Golden's schedule changed: one for 4/11, and one for 4/13, both at 11:30 am. /4

Now that we're updated, here's the latest: /5

On April 2, I got an email from Meg cancelling the meeting on 4/11, but saying 4/13 still looked good. She didn't offer an explanation and her email was very brief. I wasn't too worried, because we still had 4/13 planned on, and after all, we had two dates for a reason! /6

Yesterday, 4/10, at around 6pm, my friend who is attending the meeting with me and I got another email from Meg - Golden needed to cancel Friday, as well. I know things happen, but this is getting ridiculous. I've been trying to get answers to my questions since 2/27! /7

Meg said she would "be in touch" with future possible meeting dates, which worried me. I'm partially self-employed, which makes a daytime meeting possible... but if I am constantly scheduling/rescheduling meetings, it cuts into my work time (both organizing and w/ dates held) /8
