In an effort to get out of MS-13, a teenager wrote a confession to his teacher, who gave it to the school resource officer, who gave it to the FBI, who gave it to ICE, who is sending him back to El Salvador... to die at the hands of MS-13. I don't think the solution here is very simple and that it is to keep quiet. I'm not sure what the solution is. And I said as much.

Scroll up, KEEP QUIET is not the recommendation. You're ignoring solutions that inconvenience you. Good thing you're not a teacher.

The law may not dictate all morality, but it is not moral to see wrongdoing done and say nothing. I can't live by that code.

You can do something instead of calling the cops and asking them to take care of it for you. All power to the people.

Deportation is immoral. But how is snitching immoral? If I see my next-door neighbor shoot his wife dead and bury her in the backyard, is it immoral to report that? Not to my mind. It's immoral NOT to.
