Your Assemblymember has been endorsed by the NFIB since she first ran for the Assembly and her parents ran successful small businesses most of their lives. You’ll be lucky if you get enough signatures to qualify to run.

She doesn't seem to have carried over much from her parents apparently, and in reference to adult use cannabis I think adults should have the freedom to consume this natural product if they choose. Are you against freedom?

Plenty has carried over from her Parents. Her overwhelming support in the district is well established. Touting pot use to generate revenue for New York is a horrible idea because marijuana is a harmful substance.

And that would differentiate it from alcohol and tobacco, not to mention highly addictive opiates

Marijuana has a lot more carcinogens than tobacco. We shouldn’t encourage people to use more deadly substances to boost tax revenue.
