Librarians, do you think your job would be easier if your library held trainings on information and referral for marginalized populations? Is this something your library has ever discussed?
@BKLYNlibrary has tons of resources on site for immigrants, low income people, job seekers, youth. It's in the budget and it's excellent.

Yep a lot of big city libraries have great services and programs, but unfortunately that well dries up really quick.

Yea we're in a really good position that way. If you have local elected officials talking a big game about social services and supports, they should put the $$ down to go with that talk.
