which means no homeless person will be denied from a shelter. If you see a homeless person CALL 311 and give them their location + description and the city will drive them to a shelter.
You don't have to do anything but call.

RE #CodeBlue & calling 311 for homeless people out in the cold: you absolutely should not do that without the express consent of the person.
The teams that respond work with NYPD. You are calling police, just ask first. Hypothermia can injure or kill people, so can police.
