You think the social penalty for cropping a picture on facebook, which may not be their fault and something pre-cropped they sent, should be for them to use a hashtag on *50* posts and on other platforms? a hashtag they don't use? Why would they use a hashtag that isn't curated?
It's not a penalty lol it's just a friendly way for them to boost a fellow org. I'd say #trysocialism is well rounded, representative, and fun. So not "curated" but good anyway.

a) How is a hashtag boosting a fellow org? If DSA isn't curating the hashtag (and NEVER has? To my knowledge?) they can't claim ownership. b) I can't imagine why a DSA chapter would be demanding a global ally use a hashtag. Who authorized this demand?
