unless you're missing specific key programs, shouldn't it be identical (theoretically better) than full Windows 10?
A week with Windows 10 S, the capsule review: it's not that bad. In fact, it's really quite good.

Exactly. Not for devs or power users, but for everyone else. IT Admins are going to love it.

The more apps that can more to the store with centennial or upgrade to UWP should make it let and less of an issue for anyone.

the biggest problem i see for general average adoption of Windows 10 S with younger crowds is Win32 games (e.g. Steam).
