For the first time since the KPP, tvOS has a stable Jailbreak! Working on a firmware that is STILL SIGNED too!! And Apple finally fixed the issue with apps made for newer versions not downloading; They now offer you a compatible version. There is no reason to not JB your AppleTV!

Pushed a version of TetherMe (1.2.2-1) with support for Electra to BigBoss - so you don’t have to add the beta repo anymore. Also you won’t see it on the beta repo because BigBoss repo has a higher version.

PSA: if you install Electra 11.3.1 change your root AND mobile password or go uninstall openssh - there was a worm once, let’s not repeat that :)

For those asking, yes TetherMe works with 11.3.1 - I tested it and the same version as for prior 11 electra works. I’ll put it on BigBoss in the next day or so.

The iOS 12 kernelcache is changing. Here's my analysis on the new static pointer tagging found in the kernelcache:

If you have QuickBooks 2015 and want to be able to import a qbo file, you can make it work by blocking internet access (to the intuit servers - haven’t tracked down exactly what yet) then importing the file. Restore recent backup if it connected before and was screwed by Intuit.

Wow, disables manually importing transactions exported from your bank when you reach the end of their arbitrary "WebConnect" support period as a money grab to make you update to a newer version. I guess I have to patch my copy to re-enable basic functionality.

Just exploited 's bug via Safari RCE. I guess it really is time now to get a second iPhone that I can actually upgrade and use without getting hacked.

This thing Microsoft is doing to a computer recycler is gross in every way. They don’t have to go after this guy, it was a choice. And they should pay for that choice with their customers.

Watching an online virtual iPhone 8 Plus installing a copy of iOS 11.4 in a browser is *wild*. Then proxying it to USB so you can build & run directly from Xcode? 's is so freaking cool 😱

So, did anyone notice that watchOS 5 has a web browser of sorts? It shows up if you tap a link in the Messages app. So in theory you could just message yourself a link to Google and go anywhere from there… too bad the browser closes whenever the watch screen turns off.

I mean yes their pancakes were utter crap but burgers? Why not just start making good pancakes and thawing your strawberries before putting them on the pancakes? Or even buying a fresh strawberry now and then? Why go from crappy pancakes to crappy burgers? Hope they thaw them

So, my brother has gotten banned by anti-cheat from multiple PC games (PUBG, Rust) – according to him, a false positive. I know everybody claims that, but I believe him. I suspect it might be because I installed IDA on that PC (but never used it on those games).

Time for laws saying that cars should never be permitted to drive themselves. There are bugs in software, there always will be.

I actually support a lot of what Trump has been doing but what in the hell is this? A meeting with .... what? How does this make sense to anybody? Next week a meeting with Bugs Bunny about foreign policy?

Confirmed. Two errors from this last attempt even with leaving out the fries till later to try to relieve the pressure on her.

Am I the only one who really dislikes it when waitresses don’t write down anything on orders? I think so far in my experience about 75% of the time they get something wrong when they do that. I intentionally leave out things to add later to have less errors sometimes.
