Three straight home losses. I don’t care who you played, you shouldn’t lose three home games in an entire season.

Why is there no such thing as a home whistle at Crisler?

Maybe you should make stronger jerseys, Ohio State.

Good showing here for an impromptu Mark Dantonio retirement party that’s doubling as a book signing, tripling as a Michigan/Ohio State watch party and quadrupling as a 25,000 follower party.

I’ll take “real tweets I almost sent off as joke tweets a couple hours ago” for $400, Alex.

Probably right around the time Cornelius Johnson caught Shea Patterson’s fourth touchdown pass of the game.

I’m just glad Mark Dantonio could go out on his terms and not with a losing conference record over the last four years of his coaching career while facing allegations of cheating and other improprieties.

Mark Dantonio had six seasons of six or more losses. Number of 6-loss seasons by Michigan coaches: Rodriguez: 3 Elliott: 3 Hoke: 2 Kipke: 2 Schembechler: 1 Oosterbaan: 1 Harbaugh: 0 Carr: 0 Crisler: 0 Yost: 0 Little: 0 Wieman: 0 Lea: 0 Ferbert: 0 Ward: 0 McCauley: 0 Barbour: 0

The four people most responsible for Mark Dantonio's success at MSU are Kirk Cousins, Rich Rodriguez, Brady Hoke and attorney Thomas Kienbaum.

Mark Dantonio ends his time at MSU with a 115–57 record. That's only 17 more losses and five fewer wins than Lloyd Carr had. If Dantonio had returned in 2020, 2021 and 2022 and won every conference game, his 0.711 B1G winning percentage would still trail Jim Harbaugh's 0.727.

Whoa, he has trouble with his staff, and the job is free, and it's picked up by Mike Tressel on the last day before signing day. Unbelievable.

I always get asked which rival school I dislike more -- Michigan State or Ohio State. It's tough to choose. But I'm going to have to go with the school that had its morally questionable head coach recently step down in shame under the guise of retirement.

Stepping down from your job in East Lansing before getting disciplined for breaking the rules used to be called a Mark Hollis. Do we call it a Mark Dantonio now? Or do we just keep it simple and go with a Mark?

The final loss of Mark Dantonio's career was a 44-10 defeat at the hands of the University of Michigan.

Dallas folks -- if you're around tomorrow, come to Fox and Hound for a joint Michigan-Ohio State watch party/ book signing. Bacon said he'd buy me a beer for every person who RTs/likes this and comes tomorrow. But seriously, come. It'll be fun.

Pretty amazing that Brett Favre has been retired for a decade but he’s still getting shoutouts on the game’s grandest stage.
