Has anyone been to an talk/panel event where it didn’t feel like such a clear-cut distinction between expert and audience?
I've had good success running panels where I knew some people in the audience and drawn them into the conversation. That broke down the barrier and made it much more likely for others to join in. Contributions were always fantastic.

I can see how that would work well, but I guess I’m thinking more along the lines of something that’s almost a completely different format.
