An interesting thing we don't know yet: what the next form factor is for computers after phones. Watches? Glasses? Earbuds? Rings?

Totally agree with this way of thinking. Bandwidth depends, though? Yes for e.g. targeting a point. Not for inputting language.

I type faster than speak & you can use shortcuts, macros, go meta ... + speaking is ephemeral & linear while typing adds spatiality.

I'm talking about an average person. And speech can easily hit 200wpm, nobody types that fast.

So phone form factor will dominate for quite a while. More direct i/f (contact lens, implant, etc.) would have a steep learning curve.
