this is false...America has five times more investment in tiny Belgium than it does in huge India. The "global economy" is really West Europe + USA. Also RE "tech" this is false. Europe, Russia far ahead of Asia in physics, math, etc., and many scientists in USA are Europeanhttps://twitter.com/woke8yearold/status/1051913777887752193 …

Almost all of this is nonsense but it’s true that many top American scientists are from Europe. Europe lacks tech clusters of its own and cannot construct the. The future ai driven superpowers will be USA and China

Being far behind isn’t worth very much, There is very little tech business in Europe for a variety of reasons. This is seen clearly in the size of their tech companies, startups data, and new forms technological development

There is basically no way a google or an apple could pop in Europe, it’s an absurd notion

Neither of those can pop up anywhere as they are fully entrenched and kill competition (except in China where state regulation prohibits this)

... and you started out chatting shit about Asian tech, which is hyper localised and an insignificant sector outside of the domestic market. Baidu is “building your own google”, it’s only there because of the CCP, and it’s generally much shitter for users

I don't see how Google is in any way "tech" or "innovative." What's the innovation? That's like people who say Musk is innovative.... It's marketing.

I think a better example of what
@woke8yearold is getting at (and I mostly agree with him on that) would be operations at Amazon, or Google's datacenters. This is the not flashy use of AI/ML that gives you a real and commutative edge.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like
... commutative should of course read cumulative :/
