That's what markets are for John, you don't organize them, they organize you.

The market gave you The B. Deal with it.

Go sit and think about the conceptual contradiction in your rhetoric. And go think about what this blowback all is. (Hint: its the market raising its voice.)

Should I stop doing weekly Bitcoin meetups? It's a bit organized, and we are probably having an effect on newcomers as a group. I share my own biased views and experiences with them and we debate all topics. Am I bad for Bitcoin? What will the market do about me?!

You aren't collectively speaking outwards for something, you are bringing people together to speak bi-directionally. But go ahead, continue the fallacies.

For what its worth, im benefiting from the both of you discussing this openly, as i try to formulate my own opinion and understanding of the merits/flaws of foundation. I always learn so much from
@giacomozucco and respect him, im curious about this move.1 reply 0 retweets 5 likes -

Don't take what I'm saying about this organization as any kind of attack on the individuals involved, I respect all of them, I just think this is a horrible idea.

Is your assumption that we will end up pretending to "speak of Bitcoin" based on the name? Or even with a different name (I chose this one to troll the Bitcoin Foundation, bad choice apparently), you would assume the same thing based on other characteristics of the effort?

The problem is that the more outspoken proponents band together (thereby amplifying and homogenizing their voce), the less the ecosystem is permissionless on the social level.

Permissionless on a social level? That's either not a thing, or a thing we have no control over.

UASF was very much a thing. Thankfully nobody has full control, but you can make it worse, or not. So far the community rejected too strong movements in this direction (BCH split and now a more extreme version of same in CWS's SV split), but it only takes 1 (adversary asymmetry)
