American journalists covering Russia are so predictable — you can expect all of them to say pretty much the exact same thing, and to reflexively side with power and American spies. Rarely is there a deeper journalistic interest, just a bunch of clan signaling.

Try @amlivemon and @V4Analysis. Neither covers Russia exclusively, but both capture nuances of European geopolitics rather well.
