My AirBnB host is a lovely 80+ year old woman who’s never seen a graphic novel before, and I gave her a copy of my book on Friday and she read it and loved it and is going to seek out more comics and I am so happy and I love comics! Comics are good! Sharing comics is good!!!

A good way to feel less hopeless about the centrism of the Democratic party is to funnel your energy into local organizations that are doing good quantifiable mutual aid work in your neighborhoods. For instance, Lifekit is operating a free bodega and laundry days in K-town.

Just to clarify, cuz it's confusing: Simon & Schuster did not sign a book deal with that cop. They distribute books for a publisher who signed the book deal. They should 100% cancel the distribution deal but cannot cancel the book deal; know what to ask for when you contact them
