Free range from farms you know very well (for example neighbours) where you see hens roaming around having fun should be ok. There's a farm I know, they have 99 hens roaming around hectars of land. The hens seem super happy.

Best thing to do if you can’t get eggs from a friend’s hens (who are allowed to live out their natural lives of course) is not to buy them.
