Great words, but you’re still profiting from the agency that’s separating kids. This accomplishes nothing.

Essentially says nothing. Take hardline stance. You have real power here to put pressure on govt. Public will back you up. May lose a large contract w/ govt but public sentiment overwhelming supports ending family separation & will back. Hell, I’ll buy Windows phone tomorrow.
-
So you basically ask a company to use its financial power & leverage to skew the government's policy? Regardless of the political opinion (I'm far from being a Trump supporter), this seems to be something a little bit fishy.
-
Companies use their financial power to affect policy changes daily. What world do you live in?
-
I know that, and I still think that's something that shouldn't be encouraged. Don't take me for a fool, and the thing that it's being currently done (especially in the US) doesn't change that fact.
-
Plus, I wasn't being agressive. I suggest you tone down a little bit and cool down.
-
No one is stopping you from holding that opinion. You responded to me. And tone policing is ridiculous, but especially so when the circumstances are children in actual internment camps.
-
Exactly. We’re committing state-sponsored kidnapping with no real plan to re-unite families. We’re well beyond the “harsh tone” point. And as a stockholder I find making money off the agency responsible obscene.
-
I've never said I was supporting that. But being emotional will not solve anything. And you are being emotional.

So are you cancelling your government contracts or nah?
-
Since both are not related, MS will at the moment not do so. Should the gov be also deprived of internet access, healthcare, and prevent from using their mobile plan etc? Simply because US press point their finger at MS you cannot just be blind by only that...
-
"Should the gov be also deprived of internet access, healthcare, and prevent from using their mobile plan etc?" YES. Absolutely they should. They should be left sitting in the dark, hungry and unwashed, until they abandon this madness.
-
Pipedreams! and here you're only calling out Microsoft when just going after their electricity provider would doom all their electronics. That's a smart move of yours in a utopian world

-
I’m not certain of the specifics of our data centers but I def know there are redundant measures built in. Additionally, those energy providers are local municipalities, not the federal government, and failing to provide us energy would cause those communities to lose income.
-
I was referring to the government rather than Msft being denied power. But yes, strikes deprive the strikers of income.
-
Right. I was trying to tell
@alohayataa that our energy providers are unrelated to this issue and benefit from our presence in their communities. -
Oh, I blocked them already :-p

Just being “appalled” is not enough. Fortune 5 CEOs have enough clout to end this American nightmare. Time for a Hail Mary Pass to save American democracy from being Putinised

Terminating the ICE contract in its entirety would send a stronger message.
