Yes. We DO DEFINITELY NOT want that! But I use VSCode daily on OS X and love it, and I'm fine with the way Microsoft used GitHub to develop a great programmers' text editor. Old prejudices must evolve.

Good luck with the horrible support Atlassian provides on bitbucket ;).

It's all good. I'm Aussie. We get a special password which unlocks platinum support levels. This is a joke.

Bye Bye Github!
-
I don't get why so much hate...
-
Microsoft has a bad track record: 1. OOXML ISO corruption. 2. Android patent racket. 3. Lobbying and filling lots of for software patents. 4. Open Source, but only for their ecosystem (cloud, Win$$, C# etc...)
-
Don't forget: deliberately destroying valid attempt of having GNU phones by killing
#maemo in@Nokiamobile. Sucking billions of euros from PA via lock-in strategies and license fees. Overriding POSIX and Internet standads for decades. Promoting childish UIs & poor quality sw. -
Nokia just accepted it, Microsoft didn't force Nokia to use windows phone
-
Nokia was dead long before. It was Microsoft's that didn't think we'll before making deal with them. Don't bet on crippled horses
-
Nokia was well until they introduced their Trojan Horse CEO from M$, their cheap phones still sell well.
-
Microsoft was only the last nail on Nokia's coffin

Please dont destroy it like skype!

It wasn't
@satyanadella who was CEO of#Microsoft in 2011 when skype has been redeem. He became CEO in 2014. Since he's CEO, Microsoft has make huge progress'. -
Doesnt matter. Its the company that represents itself not the individual!
-
But
@satyanadella have do more in 5 years for OpenSource and opening of Microsoft for OpenSource, than Balmer in 11 years. One man can change all the strategy of a company. -
What if that man leaves? And there goes your argument
-
It could literally apply to any company. what if Amazon gets a new CEO and decides to stop ecommerce?
-
My point exactly.
