My Nokia 6.1 hasn't received the September security patch yet and it's close to the end of the month now. Is Nokia going on the same path Samsung and all other Android OEMs went?

It's not there harsh,what you are talking about is the Google's Face Unlock feature that comes under Google's Smartlock,it is not the Nokia's official one.

Nokia never talk about giving official face lock. And in case Nokia gives it then security of it will be almost same as Google's smart lock because we got no 3d face scanning mechanism. Atleast Nokia is not showing off with that stupid 2d face unlock system.

They are not leaving any Phones . No any Android OEM's will give updates to their devices simultaneously . Have Patience , After Nokia 7 Plus , It's the turn of Nokia 8 and Sirocco.
