Mine are, unsurprisingly enough, mostly about my first bf. He was older and also my manager at work. After he dumped me (IN BED) I had to carry on working shifts with him. Found out he'd dumped me *for someone else* by the oblivious new girl at work a week later. Fun times!

In cheerier real-world YA stories, I had my first kiss on a bouncy castle.

Extremely awkward love triangle with my then-best friend and an older guy (a mutual friend of us both) when I was 15. Would not recommend. Much less fun than in books.

I just admitted to being dumped in bed. This is a safe space*. *HAHAHA.

When I was 16, I met a guy in a club, slept with him, really liked him, stayed with him for 48 hours straight.... the week after he was my substitute teacher for my chemistry class. A similar thing happened in pretty little liars and I got texts about it for weeks 😂🙄

Ooof. Uh. Well, I met my best friend on a street corner queuing room see a band and, then, years later realised I’d fallen in love with her as my best friend, cut to us both realising feelings were in fact not unrequited rather tipsily at a superhero convention?
