I worked on a zero-hours contract throughout University. It gave me the flexibility I needed and never once did I feel exploited.

It also gave me real-world work experience whilst studying. I'm now a solicitor and wouldn't have got here w/o that experience.

I agree, I have also worked on a zero hours contract in the past but called it a flexible contract to fit in with studies.

Flexible work as a student are not the same - for ordinary hard working people who you claim to represent this is a poverty trap.

I've had a very useful zero hours contract that suited me but the unpredictability, exclusivity, do-it-or-leave ones need to go
