Contrary to the myths: Only 2.8% of people in employment are on a zero hours contract & of these 2/3 do not want more hours.

.absolutly right for Conservatives to have put an end to zero hours contracts that prevented ppl working elsewhere. Labour failed to do so

.banning zero hours contracts altogether would deny this option to both the 2.8% of employees who use them & employers & put jobs at risk

I worked on a zero-hours contract throughout University. It gave me the flexibility I needed and never once did I feel exploited.

It also gave me real-world work experience whilst studying. I'm now a solicitor and wouldn't have got here w/o that experience.

I agree, I have also worked on a zero hours contract in the past but called it a flexible contract to fit in with studies.

Yawn - when you start doing something for the hard working people of this region - then I might listen -- like real affordable homes

I'd have a bit more trust in Conservatives if they showed empathy for people rather than explaining why people have misinterpreted situation

        Q4 2010 168k with 0-hours contracts. Q3 2016 905k with 0-hours contracts. Tory's encouraging exploitation? Again. #bemorelikeCorbyn.

Stick to health. Absolutely right Conservatives gave NHS trusts right to derive 49% income from private patients & halve public provision?

You haven't done that though. You've done it theoretically. In practice it's impossible to police, exactly how the Conservatives intended.

As someone on a zero hours contract I like it, but it also allows people to reintegrate back into the workplace for whatever reason.
