I’ve been doing a lot of internet research on Victorian murders, weird pagan shit, and Ancient Rome recently. I told myself it was for a book, but it may just be who I am as a person. Unclear.

Season 5 ep 1 was some nice setup, with some intriguing possible team-ups in play. Dock 1 star for no Drummer. Dock another star bc YOU DON'T LEAVE HOLDEN ALONE, HE WILL JUST DO SOMETHING STUPID

Season 4 was a bit frustrating (whenever they don't kill a bad guy, it always bites them in the ass! learn from your mistakes! wtf WAS even that planet? my guy got airlocked! etc)

It is weird to me how much "authenticity" some people demand when PoC create fantasy, when there's plenty of vaguely European epic fantasy with 12th century armor, 13th century politics, 14th century castles, wide use of potatoes and tobacco, and time-hopping fashion

Democrats have a majority. They were given what they said they needed, control over the house, senate and presidency. People are 100% justified in their anger. Honestly, we aren’t mad enough.

After seeing the Earth from the moon, Neil Armstrong said it changed his perception of humanity. Before there were arbitrary divisions and strife, but afterwards he only saw one people, all losers who hadn't been on the moon ever.

A lot of pundits throwing up their hands and saying, "Well, what do you want Joe Biden to do if the Senate won't go along?" as if one of Biden's loudest selling points wasn't his decades of experience as a Senate wheeler-dealer.
