Even before the recess mark, a half dozen Rs and Ds got out of their seats to stand/lean in the back. Sasse and Scott were standing for much of the last hour. Murphy, Booker, Manchin also roamed a bit.

Talk about restlessness: Senators were expecting a brief recess at 3:08. A half dozen Rs were literally waiting by the door. When Schiff declared he had 10 mins left, many bolted for the exits anyways. I counted 20+ empty desks on R side, and 6+ on Dem side.

The longer Schiff went on past tre scheduled recess, the more flagrant the rule violations on the floor... Multiple whispered conversations and senators going in and out of the chamber every min or so.
