That’s Perfection. But Perfection is the enemy of Good. Do you really gonna let Trump win, if Biden is the alternative? I don’t care if it’s Mickey Mouse. 4 more years of Trump should not be tolerated. Perfect is nice. But if it’s not available, then the less evil should be
Less evil in what timeframe? If we have another 4 years of the bumbling idiocy of Trumpistan, then after, the pendulum will swing progressive all the harder. If instead we compromise & put in another white dude democrat with old ideas, we'll waste our chance for real change.
To be fair, Democrats need a majority in Senate & Congress. That’s where the power for real chance is. With Mitchel McConnel in Senate leadership, you can have whatever you like in WH, that it won’t matter at all... Buts it’s better to have some adult in the WH too...
I’m not willing to let that many more people die and be persecuted - just so the pendulum can swing farther progressive.
