I don't think I'm qualified. I've avoided the free software movement so assiduously for the last 10+ years (because of Stallman & his supporters) that I don't feel like I understand at any depth what they're trying to accomplish.
@asheeshlaroia would be a good candidate. Long track record of free software participation & advocacy; has brought more diversity to the free software movement (wrote a paper on it in 2009); connected with MIT; brilliant hacker; brings people together; listens.
You've probably never heard of him because he's not a narcissist, but meet him in person or google around, and you'll see why he deserves the endorsement.
Let the FSF die. Copyleft doesn’t seem to be a useful model anymore.
