I stopped reading or contributing to Hacker News a decade or more ago. The people there aren’t worth it. They’re mostly pseudo-intellectuals in the tradition of Paul Graham - meaning they use big words, without actually knowing anything about the topic.

I think I developed a skill to read through the BS comments and find the meaningful interesting comments in HN. It’s unfortunate how great insights are hidden inside a pile of crap
