I want to take this moment to appreciate Selam Jie Gano, the MIT grad who wrote the medium post that set all this off. https://medium.com/@selamie/remove-richard-stallman-fec6ec210794 … Thanks for your courage, Selam. It gave me the push I needed to get this going.

We also owe an immense debt to all the people who’ve called this out since the 80s, usually in the face of individual and organizational indifference (or even hostility). I see you. You set this up, it was just for us to push over the finish line. Thank you

RMS is clearly horrible and I’m glad he’s left MIT. The free software movement and the
@fsf need to drop him. He’s aware of his behavior and many people have tried to get him to change. That said I doubt his MIT position was paid or that his office was very nice at all.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

What communities? He created the free software community. People out for blood keep twisting his words. We've lost a great activist today.

I guess you’re ok with his “autistic people are like pets” thing, his “consensual sexual relationships CAN exist between children & adults” thing, and his “necrophilia & bestiality should be legal” thing. All of which he’s said explicitly in public. Nice hero you’ve got there
