We shouldn’t #cancelstallman because his ideas are abhorrent. We should do it because he has acted in abhorrent ways, deliberately & consistently, over 30 years, despite repeated feedback, & because in so doing he’s pushed countless women, girls, & others out of software.

  RMS is clearly horrible and I’m glad he’s left MIT. The free software movement and the @fsf need to drop him. He’s aware of his behavior and many people have tried to get him to change. That said I doubt his MIT position was paid or that his office was very nice at all.
