      If she had something real, she would report it to authorities for proper investigation. Otherwise it’s just an effort to dig up dirt via Twitter.

      An of course, it's absurd that @gknauth is telling somebody to report to "authorities" when he is in fact has authority over the FSF and his first reaction to a report is knee-jerk dismissal. I hope @mindspillage and @makoshark do better. ⌛

      It’s not a knee jerk dismissal. I just not a knee jerk acceptance of a tweet. How do you investigate a tweet? People use Twitter to say all kinds of bad things about people.

      I’ll admit it was somewhat of a dismissal of *one person’s* tweets, my experience more than a year ago was that same person sent many tweets without being a witness. When people responded, I saw most of them attacked. So for me it was the messenger. But Selam G’s story moved me.

          I see this as more of a call from the free software community to protect the FSF and GNU. This isn't the first time RMS has said/done something awful, and it won't be the last. Stop it now before it gets worse.
