You just prompted me to do the math and work out how young someone would have to be to not have been born yet when I started writing code. Answer: if they went directly to college after high school, and they're still in? They weren't born yet.

ha! For me, it's late 20s or younger. That includes several people I work with, which I've decided is super awesome. I get to teach them system design, while they get to teach me topics the new-fangled CS programs get into. And also memes

Actually, the guy posted a tweet saying that she had totally pwned him and that he had been a jerk and was sorry. Kind of strange, but apparently optimistic immortal sociopaths can be right some days.

I suddenly felt very old: I realized that some young coders are the children of people that weren’t born yet when I started coding But at least I don’t know COBOL :-)
