Anyway I’m sure there are people out there who are champs at handling money without feeling like a failure, but who for whatever reason have a super hard time with work stress. They are probably going to answer this question differently than I do

The interesting part, for me, is that it’s really hard to imagine how that would work. Like...I literally can’t imagine what it would feel like to be good with money. It’s stressful to me even when I have enough of it. It’s horrifically stressful when I don’t have enough.

I’ve become more of a minimalist in the last few years. I go into a mall, and look around at all the shops and ask: what do I *need* that they are selling? The answer is almost always *nothing*. Reduce “stuff” and you’ll have a lot more money (harder with kids).
