That's, uh, an interesting definition of victory. Games journalism is still an ethical trashfire, just like before GG. It would have been nice if they had focused on some of that at some point.

So you think, say, PCGamer or GameSpot is substantially better than those? I mean, okay, not Vice or Kotaku (fair, I guess?) But do you feel that game sites aren't effectively taking large bribes in advertising from gaming companies any more? If so, why do you think so?

Okay. So you declare victory for "most game news sites" but not Vice, Kotaku, PCGamer or GameSpot. Which "most game news sites" were you thinking of, then?

That's not what you asked you asked if they were better. If you need to resort to lies this early it's not worth continuing.

You said "it got most games news sites to adopt a code of ethics, game won." If no major sites are better, then what the fuck were you talking about?

Fox News has a code of ethics do you think they are good? Just because you adopt a code does not mean you staff have any skill. Just look at the overwatch Ellie debacle unfolding, if only Nathan had done his job.

So when you said "game won", what in the world were you talking about?

I mean that the movement achieved its goal, we got games news outlets to implement a code of ethics. The fact that they remained shit and in most cases have gotten worse is inconsequential.
