I do think it is weird though that Harry has never met Thomas Markle. It seems a really bizarre move given the attention to have left him entirely isolated, in addition to it just being basically normal practice to meet the parent of your future wife?

Not to be that person, but a lot of people have strange relationships with their parents and the judgement sucks. For me this wouldn’t be crazy at all bc I don’t see my dad more than once a year (if that). Who knows what TM + MM’s backstory is, but to me they seem semi-estranged

I'm not judging. I'm saying that given it seemed she always wanted him to be involved, and how intense the press would obvs be, it seems strange he didn't have element of preparation from KP, esp given how Harry knows about the stress that scrutiny involves.

But I think the “normal practice to meet the guy” is where I take issue. And I think it’s not that weird (if they are estranged) to have had little involvement up til now.
