I sometimes reply then guiltily like, out of concern that it looks like I'm saying 'well that was okay, but check out THIS'
this is ultimately what I think people should avoid doing. I am subtweeting the people who reply to a joke with their own, often worse joke, and don't even like the initial joke. be polite to the person who gave you the foundation for your content!!!!
