it doesn't though!!! like an initial tweet (ie not a reply) shows that you endorse the tweet. so if you reply with your own joke or a comment of support (ie, if you do indeed endorse the tweet) then not liking it is rude
I'm not suggesting liking a tweet you disagree with or don't like. but if you like the tweet and take the time to reply, give it a fucken heart!!!!!
