Veletržní palác, where the 19th and 20th century art of the National Gallery is kept, has some outstanding stuff in its collection.
I've seen this on a few lists and wasn't too sure, but glad to hear a personal recommendation. thank you so much!

Really worth it, very few tourists, despite it not being far at all from the centre. The Jewish Museum and the synagogues under their care are absolutely worth it as well.
