Maybe the piece you all hate and find out of touch was written for this exact kind of outrage! Maybe it's being fed and served exactly as it wanted to by *everyone* sharing it!

I actually didn't totally hate it, but I think editors should stop and question whether the story they're commissioning is really the one that needs to be told - for the writer's sake if nothing else
1000%. I didn't hate it either, but its existence in and of itself felt tone deaf - people are literally dying
