What do you mean? I don't think it's manipulating if DC spelled correctly is a bigger trend and they simply take off the anti-porn filter to allow it to be? Without removing the other?
Isn't there a thing that stops terms from trending a second time in 24 hours (which was informally the 'Justin Bieber rule' when they introduced it)? Which is why spelling mistakes end up trending over correct spellings after a certain point.

Lol idk... Letting a government advisor trend to work around an obviously bizarre crossover with an explicit word doesn't sound like manipulation imo. I don't think they'd even worry people would say anything like "slippery slope!" because the rationale is obvious
