But like you said: CumGate? And the misspelt Cummings tag having a link about the story? If a link is appearing that seems like something a human has placed there, so why would they not just correct the filtering problem if they know it's happening? I've asked Twitter comms FWIW
But it's not manipulating trending topics if it's just taking a filter off? Again, I guess we'll only know til/if they confirm, but I've seen this happen loads on topics that have no anti-porn risk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe I'm wrong!

What do you mean? I don't think it's manipulating if DC spelled correctly is a bigger trend and they simply take off the anti-porn filter to allow it to be? Without removing the other?
