I also think there's a huge disconnect between what does well on TikTok and what does well on Twitter. A lot of the "viral TikToks" you see on here get relatively low engagement on the actual platform! @sophiasgaler pointed this out re a lot of reporting on TikTok from non-users
Also just a straightforward case of enjoying the performance/timing/editing, there is a real skill to it which Sarah Cooper and Meggie Foster (albeit Foster has fucked it with the Diane Abbott one) do have. Anyone not seeing the value of it could give it a try and see how they go
